Shows cash received and used in financing a company's activities. In essence this amounts to all cash transactions involving equity and interest-bearing debt.

  Calculation rule
  
Includes cash repayments of short- and long-term debt, cash receipts from debt issuance, stock issue/purchase and dividends paid.

Note that dividends paid are included in cash flow from financing, whereas dividends received are included in cash flow from operating activites.
