Why are there 2 time series for the same stock?
2 time series can be available for the same stock:
- The quote on a dedicated market place, using the Instrument Code (example: Vodafone on London SE, LSE:VOD).
- Or the most liquid stock, using the Company Code (example: Vodafone 21298EX).
To retrieve the Instrument Code of the most liquid stock of a company, one can use the Primary Listing Code field in Quick Report:
